The Gering Police Department was notified of an assault which had occurred at the Gering High School at approximately 7:10 a.m. on November 20, 2017. Gering officers had contact with the juvenile male suspect at 7:13 a.m. approximately 2 blocks away from the school. Semi-truck Accident

On 10/26/17 at approximately 19:47, Scottsbluff Police responded to a reported accident at the intersection of HWY 26 and 21st Ave in which involved two semi-trucks. On Friday morning October, 20th 2017, a train-truck collision occurred west of Mitchell Nebraska. 64 year old Michael Weimer of Morrill was killed. CHADRON, Neb. (AP) — Four people accused of involvement in hazing at Chadron State College are no longer enrolled.
