Regional West is pleased to welcome three new providers to its medical staff.
Sean Walker, MD, a physician at Regional West Medical Center in association with Radiology Imaging of Nebraska, specializes in interventional radiology. Interventional radiology involves the diagnosis and treatment of patients using minimally invasive X-ray guided techniques that are often safer, more cost effective, and require a shorter recovery time than conventional surgery. Dr. Walker earned a medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, David Geffen School of Medicine. He completed residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, and completed a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at the University of New Mexico Hospital, Albuquerque.
Michael Yung, MD, a Scottsbluff native, is a radiologist in Regional West Medical Center’s Imaging Services Department, in association with Radiology Imaging of Nebraska. At Regional West Imaging Services, patients receive the diagnostic testing they need close to home, combining the highest level of technology; skilled, compassionate staff; and the expertise of highly trained radiologists with the convenience of local care. Dr. Yung earned a medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. He completed residency training and a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha.
Meghan Blaylock, AGACNP-BC, sees patients at Regional West Medical Center as part of the Regional West Physicians Clinic-Hospitalist Service. Regional West’s primary care providers and specialists have the option of partnering with hospitalists, who specialize in the care of hospitalized patients, to manage their adult patients’ medical care during a hospital stay. Ms. Blaylock earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Scottsbluff and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.
